CBD-Infused Golden Turmeric Latte

It's the home stretch - only a few more weeks until daylight savings time and then the first day of spring shortly thereafter. It may be a little hard to imagine life with sunshine and warmth right about now as much of America remains frozen solid, but it's coming, we promise.

Today we're sharing a recipe to help you get through these last few weeks of frigid weather - a warm and spicy golden turmeric latte infused with the powers of hemp CBD. Not too sweet, nice and creamy - just perfect. Did we mention it's dairy-free?

Sipping on a mug of this tasty superfood latte will help boost your immune system and stave off free radicals thanks to the antioxidant properties of turmeric and cannabidiol (CBD).

Cannabidiol and turmeric are a true match made in heaven - they both possess incredible anti-inflammatory properties to help get to the root of what ails us. Plus it is so warming and comforting. Perfect as a healthy nightcap to wind down, or a caffeine-free replacement to coffee in the morning. 

CBD-Infused Golden Turmeric Latte

The Recipe 

CBD-Infused Golden Turmeric Milk Latte

Makes 12 oz

Ingredients 

1 cup unsweetened nut milk (preferably homemade and raw)

4 oz purified water

1/2 Tbs Dastony Whole Coconut Butter

1 dropperful of Veggimins Full Spectrum Hemp CBD - 300 mg - or your choice of strength 

2 tsp raw honey - or to taste

1 tsp turmeric powder

1/4 tsp cinnamon powder

1/4 tsp nutmeg powder

2 dashes black pepper (it helps the absorption of the curcumin in turmeric)

1 tsp minced peeled ginger root

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Pinch Himalayan salt

Garnish: a dash of nutmeg 

Instructions

1. Blend all ingredients until smooth. Heat on a stovetop to the desired temperature (make sure not to over-heat - Veggimins CBD extracts are cold processed and will lose some of their health properties if over-heated). Sip and be well!
